Himalayan Goat Farm & Breeding is a advanced and technically operated goat farm in Bungkot, Gorkha, Nepal offering the pure and different verity of breed and healthy goat for meat. You’ll know what you are getting when you choose it from our farm.
Our passions are nature and our animals. With decades of experience, our entire team is very well-educated in animal husbandry and care. All of our animals are nature-fed, and we don’t use any antibiotics or hormones. Raised with care and love, our animals are treated as part of the family, free to roam over our property, in a natural and humane environment.
Years ago, we led very busy and hectic lives. It was time for a change to our lifestyle. Spiritually guided to raise goats, we have been in business for almost 10 years and went from a busy life to an even busier one. We truly believe the pasture we provide and the surrounding trees and shade are helpful to our animals. We want to make sure our customers know where their food comes from, and that it’s lovingly cared for before making it to their table.

नेपालका ग्रामीण क्षेत्रमा पारिवारिक आयआर्जनको प्रमुख स्रोतको रूपमा पशुपालनलाई मानिन्छ । पशुपालन व्यवसायले देशको अर्थतन्त्रमा पनि महत्वपूर्ण स्थान (२८ प्रतिशत ) ओगटेको छ । नेपालमा करिब २८ लाख कृषक परिवारले खसीबाख्रा (सरदर ३-.२ वटा ) पाल्ने गरेकाछन् . नेपालमा मुख्यतः मासुको स्रोतहरूमा भैंसी, बाख्रा, भेडा, सुँगुर, कुखुरा आदि पर्दछन् । मासुजन्य पदार्थको उत्पादन केही कम तथा अप्राप्यभएकोले मासुजन्य पदार्थ मँहगो पनि छन । धेरै जसो नेपाली परिवारहरू माशांहारी छन् । धार्मिक तथा जातीय आधारमा राँगा, सुँगुर, कुखुराको मासु केही समुदाय विशेषले त्यति रूचाएको पाइन्न तर मांसाहार गर्नेहरू मध्ये खसीको मासु सबै धर्म, जात, समुदायका मानिसहरूले रूचाएर खाने गरेकाछन् । कतिपय समुदायमा सांस्कृतिक तथा धार्मिक अनुष्ठान सम्पन्न गर्न बलीका लागि पशु र भोजका लागि मासु नभई हुन्न ।
नेपालमा चाहिने मासुको माग पुरा गर्न ठूलो परिणाममा जीवित पशुहरू विशेषतः भारत र तिव्वतबाट आयात गरिन्छ । एक अध्ययन अनुसार वार्षिक मासु कारोबार मा २० प्रतिशत भन्दा बढी खसीको मासुले ओगटेको छ । हरेक बर्ष नेपालमा रु १ अर्ब बराबरको मासु आयात गर्ने गरिन्छ। खसीको माग पूरा गर्न भारतबाट वर्षेनी करिब ५ लाख खसीहरू र तिब्वतबाट १ लाख भेडा भित्राइन्छन् हालै को अध्ययनबाट नेपालमा वर्षेनी करिब ६ लाख खसीको अभाव रहेको देखिन्छ र यो सङ्ख्या वर्षेनी बढदै जाने क्रम मा छ । यसरी आफ्नै देशमा व्यावसायिक बाख्रापालनको विकास गरेर आयात प्रतिस्थापन र रोजगारी सृजना गर्ने प्रशस्त अबसर उपलब्ध छन् ।त्यसकारण नेपाल मा बाख्रा पालन को राम्रो भबिस्य रहेको र बजार मा माग बढ्दो रहेको हुनाले यदी याहा हरुले पनि बाख्रा पालन ब्याबसाय सुरु गर्ने बिचार गर्नु भएको छ भने निर्धक्क भएर सुरु गर्दा हुन्छ ।
